{ baptism event :: holy spirit church huntsville}
It was a blessing for me as I captured these sweet moments of Mary Catherine being baptized - again. Yes, again. The amazing story is that little Mary Catherine had to have heart surgery and had made it through. What a testimony to the miracles of our great God! As I look at these images, I think about how we often forget about this wonderful thing called life as we get so wrapped up in the things of this world. Treasure what have been given to us!

Rob and Annie is one of the busiest couples I’ve ever met, working daily to bring love, goodness, and their talents to our world. The only catch to that is, you better book yourself into their calendar if you wanna hang out with these wonderful, fun loving people!

The Kaufmann family is a very special family. David, the dad, is a full-time missionary with { e3 Partners Ministry } who is in fact in Rwanda as we speak. He spend his days praying for our city, our state, our country, and for our world. It is his passion to share the Good News to groups of people in this world who we don’t usually think about. David is also fully involved with a youth ministry here in Huntsville. Rebeka is the worship pastor for a women’s ministry called { Awaken }. She brings together musicians from across the city in preparation for the worship that is going to happen for their next Awaken event in November. Their precious children are William, Gracie, Belle, and… Rebeka is expecting! Yea!
Thank you, Kaufmanns, for what you do for God’s Kingdom.

{ corporate event :: huntsville, al }
Here is something a little different for the blog - a fun day at the car dealership! It was exciting hanging around some of the TV personalities as well as our mayor. It’s definitely a unique corporate event coverage gig for me!

May and I have known each other since 1998. Wow, we’ve been friends for 10 years! We’ve laughed, cried, and shared so many experiences together. Next time when you see us, ask us whether we’re sisters. Because the answer is ‘yes’. Love ya, May.

The April sun brings warmth even to the coldest corners… it was definitely there with us on this gorgeous Monday afternoon. Looking at the flowers by the old church, the wonderfully expressive Madeline (I hope I’m spelling her name correctly) told me all about the flowers that she has at home. “They’re pink!”, she says. As pretty as those pink flowers may be, I know for certain that they are no contenders of Madeline’s beautiful face!

{ portrait :: north alabama railroad museum }
No magic needed - rustic details and bold colors make the railroad museum a wonderful place to have pictures made. Aside from having the roaring train come by when we first arrived (on the active railroad next to the museum) and after the “What? I can’t hear you”(s), the museum is actually a quiet and private place to be. I hope you will enjoy these images, Jared.

{just for fun :: north alabama railroad museum}
Last week I had the chance to go hang with my good friend Liss (who at the time was working on an awesome engagement shoot) at the North Alabama Railroad Museum. I thought I would share some of my favs. Enjoy.
